...that the Bible is God's inspired Word, the story of God's mighty acts, the revelation of His will, the witness of the Gospel of Christ, and the only source and norm of the church's teachings and life.
...that the church is God's chosen people in whom He lives and through whom He works, by Word and Sacrament, to reach human hearts with the Gospel. The Church is one, holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic. It is God's mission in the world.
...that you are God's creation loved by God and meant to enjoy the all gifts and promises He gives. God desires that you have faith in Him and that you respond to Him with love and service.
