Many people just like you have found a home here. Our congregation is a community of believers in Christ who fully believe in discovering and living out the purpose that God has in store for each of us.
One of the prevailing visions of our congregation is that together – in community – we'll touch peoples' lives with Jesus love. We do this through worship, fellowship and relationship building, personal spiritual growth, and by using our spiritual gifts to serve others.
Inspirational worship services provide opportunities for you to gather together to praise and worship Jesus Christ. Our Contemporary Worship service include scripture, music, a Praise Band, interactive media, and prayer. Our Traditional Service includes choir, keyboard, organ, and other instrumental music Traditional liturgies and hymns are used.
You'll also find numerous ministries, Bible study groups, social groups, and educational opportunities to connect in small group settings for fellowship, spiritual growth and service. New groups are always forming so it's easy to get involved when you're ready.
Whether you're just starting your search for God, or you're looking to grow in your relationship with God and others, you'll find a warm welcome at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School!
God's Blessings!

PASTOR DAVID SCHILLING, VISITATION PASTOR
If you think of Jesus in action, chances are you visualize him helping someone who’s ill, hurting or worse. Immanuel’s commitment to Jesus’ healing ministry extends to our shut-ins, aged, hospitalized and imprisoned. Our Stephens Ministers and Elders visit many of the above and Pastor David supplements those visits and more with his calls. He currently has about 30 people that receive monthly home visits and again that many who are seen on an as needed basis because of their ongoing health concerns. Both pastors make hospital visits and Pastor David is “Chaplain on Call” volunteer at two of our area hospitals. Although he is technically retired and part-time, when you ask, he’ll tell you: “If retirement means doing what you love, I am retired.” He also brings a lot of energy to our worship by assisting on Sunday mornings and enjoys preaching from time to time at Immanuel as well.

MART DUVALL, DEACON
Deacon Mart DuVall has been a deacon at Immanuel Lutheran for the past two years acting in the capacity of Worship Leader, Preacher, Adult Bible Class Teacher, a member of the Board of Elders, and a Verger for all Festival Services. He is a graduate of Concordia College, Portland, Oregon with a Masters in Education from the University of California, Riverside and a Baccalaureate Degree with a major in History. Before being commissioned by the Pacific Southwest District of the LCMS, he served in the United States Air Force, and upon retirement, taught school in the Riverside Unified School System and in the men's correctional facility at Chino.
PASTOR STEVEN BORST, SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Borst came to Immanuel as Sr. Pastor in September of 2008. He comes to us with experience as a church planter, campus pastor, conference speaker, published author, and university professor. Steven's passion is to help Christians discover authentic discipleship by responding to Jesus' call: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it." (Matthew 16:24-25)
JEAN BECK, DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Jean Beck received her degree and certification as Director of Christian Education from Concordia St. Paul, MN in 2002 and has been at Immanuel since then. Before graduating she served as a Missionary/English teacher in Taiwan for 2 1/2 years. She feels called to teach and train others for service to Christ. Her greatest joy is hearing how God has used others in ministry and is blessed to be able to provide opportunities for that. Many people know her from her laughter and she is prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks to give the reason for the hope she has.
